Interface at Everest Poker

The players that have the option to play something other than US poker sites should find that Everest Poker is one of the best rooms for those new to the game. Today I plan to continue reviewing the site by moving on to its software.

Like I said last time, the most annoying thing about Everest’s download free poker site is the amount of memory the software uses. You shouldn’t go thinking that everything about the interface is poor, though. There are definitely a few good things.

Most people expect smooth navigation on the best online poker sites, and no one will be disappointed with the menus on Everest. You have the choice of searching for the tables you want using a tabbed menu system, or you can use the custom list to show only the exact limits that you would like to play. Either way works just fine and is more than sufficient.

A major benefit of being able to play on money poker sites is the ability to play more than one table at a time. You will be happy to hear that Everest Poker tables are fully resizable, but there is something you get that most other sites don’t give: an option for four different resolutions for your tables! Your tables can be at 640x480, 800x600, 1024x728, and 1280x960. These multi-tabling features really stand out when trying to decide whether to pick an Everest Poker download among the sites available.

However, the one thing holding Everest Poker back is the memory hog issue. If they ever want to gain the respect that the Bwin Poker download has, they at least need to provide the option of reducing graphics at the tables. Players have the ability to turn off table animations, but it is not a lot of help.

If you would prefer to wait for Everest to give their software an overhaul prior to playing on their network, there are plenty of other sites to play at. A few weeks ago I mentioned Tiger Gaming as one of your options. Whatever you choose, good luck and have fun!
